Paris is an iconic city with a rich history from the Eiffel Tower, Catacombs, Palace of Versailles, and more. It’s so much fun to see all of the tourist attractions but sometimes it’s time go a different direction. Here is a list of fun and unique experiences in Paris that all be completed in one day.

Get your picture drawn

Street artist drawing in Paris

While visiting the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre, there is a small shopping area around the corner. Most of these shops sell souvenirs. For the coolest souvenier, there are many men walking around offering to draw you. We bartered with a man and it was 15€. Make sure to ask for examples or watch someone get drawn first. I had seen a couple amazing ones then the guy I asked had a very different style.

Go to a Speakeasy

There are multiple speakeasies throughout Paris. We recommend No Entry. It is under Pink Mama in the 9th arrondissement. The building does not have a sign outside but it is very large and pink. Save yourself time by not waiting in the restaurant line. Walk right up to the host and let them know where you are going. They point to the stairs and you are free to go! The door looks like a freezer cooler and when you walk in it is a cozy space with velvet red walls and plants in glass jars all over. The drink menu was a creative magazine and the vibes were impeccable! Expect to pay between 13-15€ per drink. Water was included – big bonus since we had realized we hadn’t had water for most of the day.

Get Starbucks From

the Fanciest Paris Shop

Inside the Starbucks Shop

Since you are already in the 9th arrondissement, head over to the coolest Starbucks ever! It used to be an old bank so it is extremely pretty on the inside. There is a decent size seating area and a smaller room towards the back with more seating. It was hard to tell there was a room but it appeared more empty than other parts of store.

Visit a Unique Flea Market

Shopping at a Flea Market

Going to the flea market is mostly a weekend activity. We went on a Sunday to arrondissement 14 (since we were already there) and found a pop up flea market. There was clothing, books, jewelry, home decor, and so much more! I found a pair of adorable black flare corduroy pants for 3€!!!! There was also a cute vintage shop near by that we wandered through. Along the walk a man was making chocolate crepes for 4€ so we got one of those as a snack.

We had an absolute blast and hope you found this list of unique experiences in Paris to be helpful! Want to hear about more things to do?
