Kilo Shop of Athens
Shop till you drop at the Kilo Shop! This fun vintage clothing shop allows you to pay based on weight of the items. Each area of the shop was a different style of clothing and very well organized. A variety of options were on the first floor of women’s clothes. Most of the men’s clothes were on the second floor. The prices were great and the items were in good condition. Don’t worry about not finding your style, there is a huge variety. Or maybe choose something new and step out of your comfort zone!

Little Kook
On Ross’ first visit to Athens, Kook Land was in the Alice in Wonderland theme. We arrived near Halloween and it was fully decorated! Not only were the lights and decor Halloween themed, the waiters were also dressed up. For a decent price it is possible to get a food and drink from the shop. There was a small Christmas shop with ornaments if that is more your style. It is our understanding they change the decorations periodically and by season. Going in the evening when the lights are shining is recommended.

Hyper Astro
Athens Rooftop Bar
There are a variety of rooftop bars to explore when in Athens. This one was our favorite because of the amazing view of the Acropolis. The flower archway was the perfect photo-op! Drinks were slightly more expensive than on the street below. The drinks ranged from beer to unique cocktails. It is recommended to go in the evening to watch the sunset.

Ellyz Cafe
Looking for a fun cafe to grab a coffee? This one was easily one of the prettiest in town. The flowers on the door and throughout the cafe were beautiful. We popped by early one morning to grab a photo while they were closed. The inside makes for a great photo as well!

Plaka Stairs of Athens
Ok, this one might not be as unique but is a cannot miss spot! These stairs are adorable and have tables lining the sides. There are a variety of restaurants along the stairs and it is hard to choose which is best! Many of the waiters will be on the stairs to provide a menu to assist in choosing which restaurant is the right option for you. It is on the more expensive side due to the unique location. Be prepared for them to also be busy.
Seek Out Crazy Street Art
Many areas of Athens have insane street art. Some of it is impressive graffiti and some of it is beautiful murals. Depending on which area you head to, it is possible to see the streets completely lined with art.
