A private beach escape with fun activities for every age sounds like the perfect day. A place where you can grab a snack with a view before lounging in the sunshine. Get your adrenaline pumping with a jet ski ride and then a cocktail while you relax afterwards. If this sounds like a good time, Paradise 101 is the spot for you! When visiting Langkawi it can be hard to choose how to spend your time with so many amazing options. If you are looking into visiting Paradise 101 Langkawi, this is everything you need to know to prepare for your visit!
Activities
Any age will have a blast during their visit. There is a combination of water activity options that range from chilling on a boat to holding on for dear life as you fly above the sky parasailing. Here is a quick list of all the different activities that are offered:
- Kayaking
- Speed Boat
- Jet Ski
- Parasailing
- Banana Boat
- Zipline
- AquaPark
- Beach Volleyball
- Beach
- Fishing
- Boardgames/pool
Some of the items on this list (like volleyball) are free during your visit. This makes it a great spot to spend a good portion of your day. Even if you choose to do a smaller package, each activity can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. This means just doing a few activities will likely take you a couple of hours. This doesn’t include time in between and getting ready before or after. When planning your day, they will request you to do the dry activities before wet activities. For example doing the zipline before doing the jet ski. Check out the video above to see us do all of the activities!

Restaurant
Since you’ll likely spend a few hours and be putting in the hard work of playing, you’ll want to plan to grab a snack or meal on the island. There is tons of seating in the main area ranging from comfy chairs to regular tables. Throughout the island there are nice tables with views that you can reserve for a cost. Getting that instagram shot in the birds nest or the cozy lounge with the soft cushions.
The OMG Restaurant provides a wide range of options for all appetites. They serve western food like burgers along with pizza and pasta. If you prefer more authentic food they have options of Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng. Don’t forget to grab a yummy ice cream for dessert! The bar has a range of cocktails, beer, and mocktails. Fresh juice and coffee is also available.
***Hot Tip – The restaurant will run different promotions periodically or meal deals. Some are only for certain days of the week. They have a happy hour most days as well. This is a great way to save some money.***

What’s Provided by Paradise 101
One of the best parts of this experience is they make it super easy for you to relax and enjoy yourself. Upon arrival they will provide a lifejacket for any of the water activities. They have different sizes available so it’s important to choose one that is the right size for you. As soon as you step off the boat there is a cold arrival drink waiting for you. The lockers are decent size with a small key that you can carry with you. It’s possible to get multiple fresh towels throughout your time on island too.
Since you will be having so much fun, it’s sometimes hard to capture it at the same time. The staff are extremely helpful and filmed us on the banana boat and took a few pictures for us as well. They are all eager to help and want you to have a good time at Paradise 101 Langkawi!

After all that fun, head to the bathroom to rinse off in the showers. The bathrooms are large and spacious. Expect to find a dry space for changing clothes, a shower, and toilets.
What to Bring to Paradise 101
Do note that once on the island it is not easy to go back and forth to the main land. Plan to bring anything with you that you think you might need for the day. Many of these items are things we used throughout our time on Langkawi in general. Here is a list of what we recommend having with you:
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Water Proof Phone Case
- GoPro (we like our Hero 11)
- Sandals for walking around
- Swimsuit – floaties if you like them for relaxing in the ocean
- Dry clothes for afterwards
Cost
The most important question usually is how much will it cost? This is a great question with the lovely answer of ‘it depends.’ If you have a larger group of people it will be a bit more expensive. Activities like parasailing will run at a much higher cost than the aquapark or zipline. For the zipline, banana boat, and kayaking expect to pay less than RM 50 per person. Parasailing ranges from RM 300-800 depending on how many people are going at once.
They periodically run promotions that offer different activities grouped together. During our visit we paid RM 285 ($60) for 2 adults and it included a boat ride, jet ski, kayaking, banana boat, aqua park, and zipline. They provide the boat ride to and from the island in the cost as well as access to hang out at the beach on the island.
It is possible to book for activities ahead of time on their website (listed below). We arrived at the dock and booked in person instead. We found this helped with finding a lower cost package. There is parking for free at the dock.
