Aruba Holiday Inn Resort Review

When visiting a new place, one of the hardest choices is where to stay. We love to find a good deal that still has great amenities and is in an ideal location. We often end up staying in multiple places for a variety of experiences. In Aruba we stayed in two places. The first was Natu and the second was the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba. Here is everything you need to know before your stay at the Holiday Inn!

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba - Beach Resort and Casino

We overall really enjoyed our stay here. It was in an ideal location and the amenities ranged from basic needs to whatever you could ask for.

The Beach

The Holiday Inn Aruba is located right on Palm Beach on the North East side of the island. The beach is long enough that you can easily get in a good morning or evening walk. It extends going north and south. It is important to note this beach area is primarily resorts.

Through the resort you can rent cabanas on the beach and there are tons of chairs available included in your stay. As you walk along the beach, you’ll pass multiple little tents set up that are renting out floaters as well as water activities.

Activities

The resort features multiple amenities to fit a variety of needs. Here is a comprehensive list of what you will find at the resort:

  • Large Pool on the beach with in water seating and Secondary Pool with more shade. Towel huts located at each one.
  • Two Whirlpools
  • Fitness Center
  • Kids Area

Restaurants at the Holiday Inn

Whether you want something fancy or a quick bite, there are multiple options to choose from!

  • Sea Breeze Restaurant and Bar – open air on the beach
  • OceanSide Bar and Grill – pool/beach area with poolside service
  • Corals Restaurant – buffet
  • Da Vinci Ristorante – indoor, more upscale
  • Agave Mexican Cuisine – indoor
  • Palm Lobby Bar and Cafe – great for your morning coffee

Other Amenities

The resort has a variety of amenities for those that prefer indoor activities:

  • Casino
  • Spa – indoor and a couple of beachside options
  • Boutique Shops
  • General Shops
  • Liquor Store

Our Review

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the resort. All of the workers were very kind and helpful. The area was clean and everything was in generally good condition.

The beach was not as nice as other beaches on the island. This didn’t bother us much because we tend to go exploring and try all of the beaches anyways. It does offer more of the water activities than some of the other beaches offered.

We don’t really gamble so we peaked into the casino but didn’t use it. We also peaked into the fitness center and the spa and both appeared to have what you would need.

The hotel isn’t the most updated but for what we wanted (good location and a reasonable price) this resort was perfect for us. We used the pool multiple times and walked the beach too. It was great to be able to stay in this area of the island and have access to a variety of beaches and activities.

Are you planning a trip to Aruba? We would love to hear about it in the comments!
